Mr. Navecky, As a 36 year emergency room nurse and a member of the medical division of the Porter County SWAT team for 11 years, I would like to express concerns regarding extended emergency response times in Porter County should the GLBT train be allowed to go through. Many of our south county residents already have an increased time in their travel to the hospital because of a recent move by the hospital to the north end of the county. Frequent trains bisecting the north and south ends of the county would increase this time in an emergency. The same would hold true for emergency responses by the SWAT team and other critical incident teams. Time is crucial in these instances and the shorter the better. Respectfully, Luann Hoyt
