Mr. Navecky As a retired Conservation Officer for the State of Indiana, I have first hand knowledge of what happens during train wreaks. One of my major concerns are the facts that if this train was to derail in our local farm fields, the liquid material (hazardous material) would work its way into the farm fields tile systems and would not be able to be contained. This would cause catastrophic effects to our environment and eco system. Its one thing when the soils can be removed to stop it, however the majority of these fields are tiles for drainage. There would be no way to contain such a spill Respectfully Bob Cauffman Indiana Conservation Officer (ret.)
