I would like to comment about the safety of the proposed rail crossing at State Highway 2 just west of Clay St. and east of I-65 in Indiana. The rail line crosses both Clay St. and Rt. 2 with a quarter of a mile of each other and at each place, the rail line is at a sharp angle to the roads mentioned. This does not allow for a safe crossing. Visibility is a real problem, especially with two tracks. State Highway 2 is a very busy road and so is Clay St., a major north/south county road. Right next to the location is the Range Line Presbyterian Church, at the northeast quadrant of Rt. 2 and Clay St.
