Mr. Navecky Have been in law enforcement for 25+ years, I have great concerns for the effects this rail line would have on the public safety of our community. With the proposed rail line, it would cut off this county from north to south. This would make for much longer response times during emergency situations. These rural areas relay on fire departments that are required to bring water to the fire scenes. With roads being closed, and having to wait on trains to cross these areas, there could be substantial lose of property as well as loss of life because of these delays. Further I can only imagine the catastrophic effects it would have if a school bus was to be struck by this train/ the law requires all buses to stop at every RR crossing to check for trains. This will cause bus routes to have increased times to and from schools as the rail line will cross every road in our areas. I would ask that you please look at these points and consider either denning the permit or move the rail line to an area that will not be as detrimental to the community. Respectfully Bob Cauffman
