Please consider the well being of our children. The proposed Great Lakes Basin transportation rail line will pass close to schools and existing neighborhoods. Some children walk to school and will have to cross tracks. Wearing ear buds or texting is common among kids, also children are fascinated by trains and may play or walk along tracks, thus creating an increase for a child fatality. Special needs children will be susceptible to noise and vibration which will be detrimental to their health and well being. The potential of a chemical accident near a school is unthinkable. Please save our children. Thank you.
