I am writing to voice my opposition to the planned Great Lakes Basin Railroad plans. Aside from losing some land personally, I am concerned about the effects the rail will have on drainage to the Kankakee river and the additional loss of prime farmland due to flooding north of the rail, where the southerly flow of water will be unnaturally diverted and or blocked. Thank you.
