[Monroe Center] Dear Mr. Navecky, I look to inherit a peice of land that is directly affected by the GLB railroad. My grandfather purchased his land and my sisters and I plan to take over it and preserve it as a reminder of the hard work and legacy of a great man. The GLB railraod threatens to take it and ruin its meaning and productivity. My concerns are that this project will destruction prime farmland (Apprx. 6,700 acres: 20 per mile for 270 miles.) While only a few of those acres will be in my inheritance it is a huge impact on a already small hobby farmer. This small field will be divided into even smaller pieces which will decrease productivity. Due to shorter rows there will be increased compaction of soil. Farm implements may be too big to use on newly created smaller fields. A hobby farmer can't buy new machine just because of the train. The one time buy out award given from GLB is not enough. The land built and cultivated by my grandfather is priceless. Please stop the GLB railroad. Would Mr. Patton want his inheritance robbed and a trail through his back yard. He looks to make millions at the cost of our natural resources. Sincerely, Brian Hall
