[Verona] I am writing in extreme opposition to the GLB railroad project. I find it unbelievably ironic that the efficiencies proported by building this bypass would come at the expense of those of us farming the affected parcels. By limiting our access to our fields, it would create huge INEFFICIENCIES to our operations, especially at harvest in getting large volumes of grain from field to storage. TIME IS MONEY, especially in a business in which the weather can turn on a dime.
