[Verona] I am writing in adamant opposition to the Great Lakes Basin railroad proposal. The late date that this has hit the countryside is stunning. The comment period ending on May 16 is ludicrous! Usually comment periods are open for many months. Beyond that, the majority of affected landowners are farmers. With spring planting upon us, we simply need more time to properly respond to this threat to our livelihood and way of life. At a minimum, please extend the comment period!
