[Beloit] I want to go on record that I am against the Great Lakes Basin Transportation, Inc. constructing a rail road track through any part of Rock County WI USA. I am a citizen of Turtle Township but a tax payer of the Clinton Community School District, part of which includes Bradford Township. I also have elderly parents who own a home in Bradford Township and live near the proposed path of the tracks. Rock County has the best farmland in the world but that aside it will be a safety issue to my community. It will make bus rides for school children longer and make first response (ambulances fire trucks police) times longer, increase insurance rates, lower property values and interrupt the tranquility of of our community while at the same time bringing no benefits to our community. My concerns about that many trains passing each day is for the safety of everyone in the event of a derailment. Please do not allow this to happen in Rock County, WI.
