I am asking you to please oppose the proposed Great Lakes Basin Railroad. This line would be harmful to the hunting and fishing community. The tracks would scare wildlife and take land away form them and the proposed bridges over 4 major waterways would impact the many people who fish and boat in these rivers. I can only imagine the noise of the train echoing in the river valley, seriously reducing my enjoyment of canoeing and fishing.
