The GLB Railroad would be very harmful to the traffic in rural Illinois. Many local roads will either be closed because the community can not afford to build a crossing or roads without crossings now will now have them. Either way cars and farm equipment that normally has an unimpeded route will be forced to sit idle increasing the amount of exhaust emitted in the air. This increase in exhaust fumes would be bad for the environment and should not be allowed.
