I am opposed to Great Lakes Railroad's proposed new rail line. Being 95 years old I have seen many changes in the rural areas and the loss of nature habitat must be stopped. I could travel from my home in Arlington Heights to cities like Naperville and see open countryside, now homes are every where. Where are the wild animals to go? I am saddened to see the land altered by massive roads and bridges, we need to protect what is left of the rural areas before everything is developed beyond recognition.
