I would like to add some final comments on the Great Lakes Basin proposal. We are beyond a critical point in the face of climate change, and drastic times call for drastic measures. I can understand if something needs to be done about rail traffic in Chicago. However, all of this seems to be based on overestimated speculation of what will happen in the future. If I'm wrong about that I do believe that this project is not even close to the best solution. As much as I wish I had the knowledge and creativity to come up with a better proposal, I don't, but I'm confident that someone with more knowledge about green alternatives does. It's 2016. Let's use the knowledge we have about pollution and climate change, and come up with a solution that would truly put a dent in the climate change battle. If we don't there could potentially not even be a larger population in the future that would benefit from this project. Thank you.
