Hello, I have many concerns which need to be addressed before this project can move forward. I owned a kayak company which often paddled the area with the planned bridge. I think a causeway jutting out from shore will be detrimental to any natural flow through the estuary creating more stagnant water, should be trestles all the way across. This is also the best living sea grass area in the whole declining Indian River Lagoon. Any sea grass to be damaged with construction should be transplanted to other areas of the lagoon. Consequently with all the sea grass this is a thriving area for manatee, dolphin, fish of all kinds and estuary life. What would be the possible effect on all of them. Also the miles of tracks through the wetlands of Merritt Island and all the effects to those areas and its creatures needs to be studied and addressed. What can be done to limit gopher tortoise and other species of being hit by train or kept from moving across tracks. I think it would be a much better idea to study the route along 528 or going north through the Air Force station. I am also very concerned about inspection of the containors and an Arab country operating the line.
