I am opposed to the proposed rail system from Port Canaveral through the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge/Kennedy Space Center. The route will disrupt the habitat of the Florida Scrub Jay, the only bird endemic to Florida. I am the Vice President of the Merritt Island Wildlife Association and although I am sending this as an individual my comments likely represent the majority of our 1300 members. This is a bad idea being pushed by the Port Authority. An alternative route needs to be pursued. Thank you. Charles Venuto
