PORT CANAVERAL RAIL PLAN: I am very unhappy to hear that a rail plan is being considered that will cut through a natural wildlife corridor, through prime scrub habitat that taxpayers have protected and paid to protect for decades It would definitely impact the scrub jay population. The rail plan would also cut through wetlands and would block the natural flow of the water. The impact on the Indian River Lagoon would damage some of the areas better quality ecosystem. And if there were to be an accident, it would be absolutely devastating. A route should be chosen in which it would least impact the last of our natural areas. Perhaps along the Beeline corridor of 528 would be more apropiate.
