Dear Mr. Navecky, As a long time citizen of Brevard County Florida I respectfully appeal to you and your staff to recognize the environmental damage that will occur with the implementation of the Port Canaveral Rail Extension. As you may be well aware, the state of Florida is plagued with the problems from sprawl and overdevelopment in our coastal areas. I implore you to take a long term view of the damage this project will do to Merritt Island, Florida. I share the concern with thousands of Brevard County residents who do not want the sanctuary of North Merritt Island destroyed by the installation of a rail line. Please disapprove any requests to move forward on the Port Canaveral Rail Extension Project.
