Mr. Navecky, I read the Port Canaveral Rail Extension Environmental Impact Statement and been informed by a neighbor who attended the Public Scoping Meeting. I would like to express my concern about this proposed project. This project could negatively effect the environment with noise pollution, disturb the wildlife in this nature preserve, as well as devalue the properties in the area. The Kennedy Space Center Nature Preserve is a beautiful, peaceful environment that will not benefit from industrialization. There are also safety concerns due to the fact that less than 5% of cargo containers transported are ever inspected. Human trafficking via cargo containers is a real danger. It would be devastating to our community to provide potential for this kind of activity literally in our own backyard. Thank you for your time.
