I just want to say that as a resident of Merritt Island , that i DO NOT want this railway. This intended area is our wildlife refuge and areas that need to be protected and not destroyed. We have been managing getting cargo, people, etc to the port just fine the way things are. Please do not destroy the beautiful setting we have now. We LOVE our island the way it is, The peace, the quiet, the wildlife, the beauty.. NO ONE wants a loud train destroying that. Like I said, We have gotten things to the port just fine, keep things the way they are. I work in the medical field and a lot of people are talking about this and against it...
