Comment EI-16389

Received or sent (printed as 2/19/2009)

I feel that rail is a cost effective way of transportation, however, in this instance, the only reason for a rail system would be to transport out of state garbage to an inappropriately sited landfill. The economic and enviromental damage to the area, not to mention the scenic beauty, caused by approval of this landfill will be a terrible blow to the citizens that live and enjoy recreation here. That approval will be one step closer if you approve reactivating this rail line. Please do not give approval to reactivate this rail line. Thank you.
