According to all the news accounts I read, I am one of the few citizens who completely supports the CN purchase of EJ&E. Metropolitan Chicago is a very large set of small suburbs that are all linked together. No one who lives in suburaban Chicago resides only in their one little community: everyone travels to other communities all the time. The decision on this purchase must be made based on the overall good of the entire area. If there are some more trains in my little city because of this, I know that other people are having less trains through there neighborhoods.
