Myself and my family are strongly oppossed to the purchase of the E,J and E Railway by the Canadian Natl. Corp. The excess noise, although a major headache, is the least of my concerns. The blocking of traffic, creating MORE congestion in our neighborhoods, the long trains, constantly rumbling thru will not only lessen the value of our homes, it could also cause delays of emergency vehicles, Fire, Police and Ambulance, from reaching their destinations. If my house is on fire, or a family member needs medical attention, and the emergency vehicles cannot get through due to train traffic, what is my recourse? Watch my house burn, or a family member suffer, or perhaps die, DUE TO A TRAIN? A company that is just looking to maximize profits does not get my vote when it comes to what the consequences COULD BE!!! Stop the Purchase!! Thank you. Brenton D Caldwell
