I would like to make it known that I am very much against the proposed Canadian National Railway aquisition of the Elgin, Joliet & Eastern Railway. Should this be allowed to happen,it would cause tremendous havoc, gridloc and danger to our community and our children. Our town of Barrington,IL has several RxR crossings that pass through the heart of our bustling community and our school buses cross these tracks several hundred times a day. An increase in the freight train traffic would suffocate our way of life as we know it. Please, PLEASE,DO NOT allow this transaction to be completed for the sake of our community and our surrounding communities. Thank you.
