The proposed purchase by CNN Rail and resulting impact on the health and safety of the residents of Barrington is alarming. The purchase will significantly increase train traffic and delays. Potential life saving treatment will be delayed due to ambulances waiting at rail crossings. In addition the safety of school children will be compromised by the potential for additional time standing waiting for buses in extreme weather conditions. Vote no for this acquisition.
