STB Finance Docket #35087 We are against the proposed acquisition of the EJ&E Railroad from Canadian National. We recently moved into this neighborhood not knowing that there was a pending acquisition of the EJ&E Railroad. If we had known this, we would have second thoughts on this big purchase. We are oppose to this action for the obvious safety and economic reasons. In addition, there will be a major impact on the Metra commuter service and the negative impact on the value of our properties. I hope you can put yourself in our shoes and see where we are coming from. Would you like to have freight rail tracks in your own backyard?
