Please consider the consequences of the CN acquisition of the EJ&E Railroad. The CN's acquisition would increase the train traffic in the Chicago Suburban area dramatically. They do not even give long term assurance that the relief granted the inner suburbs will be more than temporary. The impact on saftey could be disastrous when you consider the proposed train lenghts, and the resulting delays at ground crossings. In addition, the cost of infrastructure seems to rest on the taxpayers, not the CN, but they are the ones gaining in this. Please require more information and committment from CN before putting the Midwest under the burden of this foreign entity. Thank You. Ken Grooms Jr
