Dear Ms. Johnson-Ball: I am writing to express my concern over the proposed acquisition of the EJ & E Railroad by Canadain National RR. If you could just spend one week in our surrounding community you would see how detrimental this could be to this area. There are too many tracks to cross over as it is but to add more trains would just be a simple safety hazard. My children attend St. Anne School which is located in the downtown area of Barrington. As it stands, they cross over train tracks 4 times each day. I myself make 4 crosses just to go to the grocery store. There are many community events that occur in the downtoan area around two sets of tracks. It is already a safety issue as far as I am concerned. To add more trains will only result in more accidents. Is that something the STB members wish to have on their conscience? Please think of your own children, family, etc. Would you willingly put their lives at risk? I would guess not. If this passes, everyone who votes yes willingly puts my children's lives at risk as well of thousands of othere in our community. We just want people to see the human side of things for once as opposed to business and profit. Thank you.
