Please be aware that we remain extremely conce rned about the potential purchase of the EJ&E Railroad by Canadian National. That purchase could ruin live as we know it in the northwestern Illinois suburbs. We already deal with significant amounts of traffic every day and the additional of all of those trains would create total gridlock. Our Safety & Emergency crews wouldn't be able to respond in a timely manner and the children of our town that cross the tracks every day to get to and from school would definitely be at a much greater risk. Also, from what I've read, Canadian National received the lowest possible safety rating score. I'm extremely concerned about the threat to the safety and well-being of the many communities that border those tracks. Please say no way!" to the acquisition of EJ&E by Canadian National. Why should a foreign company be able to ruin the lives of American taxpayers? Thank you. Susan Streeter"
