Dear peoples (since i dont know who i'm writing to) I really wouldn't call it a purchase of a rail line but more o a bipass of a shitload of trackage rights. Sure the C.N. is doing something good with the steel mills and the economy. but they're also going to increase the traffic somewhwere else, places where there's enough trains already. They're not the only one using the tracks anyway, BNSF, U.P., CSX, And N.S. (i think) use these tracks for a bipass already. Plus, the C.N. Is buying out an old terminal railroad that's been here for a long time. I say they're doing it so they can save money so they can buy out another shortline. They've already bought out the Wisconsin Central, Missabe, Illinois Central, And I think they've aquired the Grand Trunk Western. Believe me, they do this so they don't have to build their own tracks. That is why I hate this wretched pice of **** for a class one railroad. P.S. If this is C.N. You'll be buying out a railroad that does swithching of cars with the CANADIAN PACIFIC! note the switces at roundout.
