Re: STB Finance Docket No. 35087 I am writing to strongly protest CN's acquisition of the EJ&E Railroad. From what I understand, this acquisition would create a tremendous environmental burden on NW Indiana, not to mention the prevention of timely travel due to more and longer trains. As it is, I approach the Ogden Dunes' train station with intrepidation every day because of the amount of freights that pass over the tracks before I can turn into the parking lot to catch my train to Chicago's Loop to get to work. I never know when I'll get caught on the wrong side of the tracks and then get to see my train pulling out of the station because the one, two or three freights that may have been passing prohibited my catching the train. The thought of more and longer trains makes me want to move out of the area. The time is now for NW Indiana to shine as a mover and shaker for industry and the environment. We all need to work together to make it happen and we may need to forgo the idea of PROFIT MARGINS in order to make it happen! Focus on what's good for all, not just good for one! Thank you for your anticipated goodwill! Mary
