I am expressing our concerns on the purchase of the EJ & E railroad which runs along our subdivision. Frankfort has only 3 roads that allow us to travel north to south. Harlem Avenue, LaGrange Road and Wolf Road. Blocking these roads will increase the already congested roads that we experience daily. On an almost daily basis Laraway Road which runs east to west between LaGrange and Wolf will have a back up of cars almost 1/4 to 1/2 mile long due to problems from I-80 which force cars to take Harlem Avenue to get to LaGrange and Wolf. Blocking these roads with trains is unexceptable. We already have no way around traffic jams. Please do not allow a foreign owned company control more of the US citizens. I think we put up with enough as it is. How about we stand up for ourselves and put our foot down. And if they want the tracks then they should pay for the improvement of overpasses for safety and so the US citizens do not have to pay for the improvements. Please work for the people and let the CN pay. They can afford it. I'm sure the President CEO can go without for a while. I know the American people do lately.
