STB Finance Docket No. 35087 Dear Anne Quinlan, I would like to voice my objection to the recent request by Canadian National to expedite the Environmental Impact Study (EIS) and the decision making process. It is my belief that the EIS needs to be thorough and that no artificial time limit should be placed on its completion. It should take as long as you at the STB feel it should take to look into all of the issues thoroughly and completely. There are many concerns covered in the EIS scope and I think that an artificial timeline to make a decision by December 2008, does not allow enough time to adequately look into all that needs to be look into. It is my hope that the STB will reject the Canadian National request for a decision by December 2008. Sincerely, Brett Spearing
