The Canadian Nat'l is seeking to purchase the EJ&E railrod which runs thru the Village of Wayne. We have been informed that this acquisition will not provide employment opportunities and will drasctically increase train traffic(currently an ave.4.4.trains/day to 24.4 trains/day. This will rstrict movement thru out our village as the trains could simultaneously block the only 2 roads that run east & west thru Wayne,preventing emergency vehicles from reaching our residents.Please consider against the purchase of this railroad.
