Dear Board: As a resident of West Chicago and an employee of the West Chicago Police Dept., please be advised that I adamantly oppose the purchase of the Elgin, Joliet and Eastern Railway by the Canadian Railway. The railroad crossings in the City of West Chicago are practically paralyzed now with railroad traffic impacting emergency response vehicles. I would hate to see the consequence from 20 or more plus trains traveling through West Chicago daily. Please consider this while making your decision.
