I oppose the Canadian National Railway's request of the STB to acquire the EJ&E Railroad, which runs north/south through parts of the Indian Prairie School District in Aurora and Naperville for the following reasons: 1. Increased gridlock in our area 2. Possible delay for emergency response vehicles 3. Increased freight traffic along a line that runs through or is adjacent to 17 District 204 schools 4. Proposed increase in transportation of hazardous cargo which puts residents and children in danger in cases of accident or derailment. 5. Possible future complications of Meta's planned STAR rail line.
