On it's own, the CN purchase of the EJ&E railroad would have disastrous consequences on local traffic that is already awful. Add to this the fact that it would aggravate the commute of 3/4 of students targeted to attend IPSD 204's new Metea Valley High School and this proposed purchase should not even be on the table. There is NO UPSIDE to the community from this transaction !
