Re Finance Docket No. 35087 Dear Ms. Johnson-Ball, Please consider my concerns as a citizen with a family that would be negatively impacted by Canadian National's proposed purchase of the EJ&E. Having grown up in Des Plaines, I have experienced first hand the profound impact freight trains have on a communities congestion and environment. Presently, we live the width of a soccer field from the EJ&E. While we presently only have about 5 trains per day it took me approximately one year to be able to sleep through the train horns and vibrations throughout our home. I can not imagine how unbearable the noise and vibrations would be increasing the frequency of trains by 4 times and doubling the length of the trains. Additionally, we would experience decreased air quality from the increased engine emissions. The community has been working to reduce pollution by adding commuter rail service to reduce automobile traffic and emissions while reducing traffic congestion. I am confident you have already heard more detailed concerns from others in my community so I kept it brief. I moved out to this area to get away from the air and noise pollution I grew up with. Please listen to the voice of our communities and disapprove the proposed transaction in whole. Sincerely, Anthony C. Tinaglia
