I firmly believe the planned sale of the Elgin, Joliet & Eastern Railway to CN puts at risk everything about my and my neighbors' healthy way of life, including greater danger to our school children (school buses) and slower emergency service response. Additionally, CN's intention to increase trains up to 25 to 30 times a day would also increase the noise and air pollution and create unmanageable gridlock of our infrastructures. CN does not contribute a penny to my community, or any other communities, yet the additional trains WILL INCREASE THEIR CORPORATE PROFITS at my expense. Please do not put the interests of a single foreign conglomerate ahead of contributing, tax-paying citizens. Thank you, Barbara J. Barrie
