As an owner and mother in Plainfield, I am writing to express my concern over the Canadian National Railroad's plan to acquire EJ & E railway. I am concerned about the number of trains that will pass by my development carrying hazardous waste, and the impact that will have should a train derail near us or a school or park. Also if a train could measure up to two miles in length, it can possibly block crossings and delay emergency vehicles from getting through. I am very bothered that this can change the atmosphere of Plainfield. Thank you for your time.
