I would like to ask your help in preventing the purchase of the EJ&E railroad property by the Canadian National railroad company. The increase in freight traffic by CN would have a great impact upon the current gridlock within our Lake County highway system due to the fact that most of the rail crossings are at surface grade. The increased HOURS of crossing delays EACH DAY would have a severe impact upon traffic movement, fire dept. response, emergency EMT response, as well as police response. Please consider these facts and the impact this CN use will have upon our neighborhood and do not approve this purchase.
