I live near the Effingham, IL terminal and use Amtrak service to Chicago. Many of my family members also use the service. My son plans on attending Elmhurst Collge in Elmhurst and this would be his primary means of transportation back and forth to school. Without Amtrak it many not be feasible for him to attend this school. Amtrak provides a much needed and necessary service to the people of downstate Illinois. Please continue this service for us. Thank you.
