My concerns with the proposed sale of CN purchasing EJ&E are as follows: Safety. We back to the train tracks in the Braemar Subdivision. Currently we have 3 - 5 trains per day. Some fly thru here and extreme speeds to the point that our home shakes. They trains are so loud that it will wake my young infant daughter from her sleep as well as us. How can we expect her to grow up and play in what is now a beautiful backyard when so many more trains will be flying thru here. And God forbid a derailment. What if we need emergency assistance! Will they be able to respond to our needs if trains are constantly rolling thru our committees making us land lock. School busses! 800 times a day they cross these tracks. What a greater increase of risk. We just moved in to this area 4 1/2 months ago with what appeared to be a quaint, mostly queit neighborhood. Now my 4 month old daughter is going to hear trains go by all day and night. She will not be able to play in her backyard. We can't move for we won't be able to sell. We will be landlocked. Are communities will suffer, or property values decreased, are safety in question. Please realize the impact this will have on our community. And this is what is effecting us humans. What about our wildlife. All the animals that have made there homes in the Cuba Marsh and surronding areas. Surely the impact of fumes, noise and other stuff is going to make us all suffer. Please, please, stop this sale from happening.
