You have probably already received pleanty of concerns about noise and traffic. I would like to give some more positive comments. Until the mid 1970's Aurora was a center of manufacturing when the rail lines began to close down. Many other factories and industrial areas became vacant. Several large inner city factories remain vacant to this day as well as many of the downtown buildings some are just now being revitalized. The railroad would bring a much needed economic boost to the area that is beginning to feel the pinch of the current recession. It is a big city and we need more public transportation and more rail lines need to be added. i don't know if the railroad in question has plans for transporting passengers, but it could at some point in the future as the rail system is better utilized. As gas prices get higher rail becomes a more viable alternative for transporting goods and services. With global warming a concern, I believe rail service, one train, would produce less emissions than having hundreds of trucks running helter skelter delivering goods. I believe all in all it would be a benefit to have CN aquire the EJ&E. Thanks
