STB Finance Docket No. 35087 I am very opposed to the expansion of freight service by CN on the EJ&E line for three reasons. The first is the traffic is already horrible and a simple 9 mile drive during rush hour already takes 30 to 40 minutes. Adding additional delays will only make the already insufficient highway infrastructure far worse. The second is the additional noise from the trains. I do not live right on the tracks but when some of the large trains come through you can hear them from a quite a distance. We moved out of the city for some additional peace and quiet. The third is the general need for the STAR line down the road. With all the development in the northern suburbs, the only way the roads will be able to keep up is if we add some more public transportation options. Please do not allow the expansion of the freight traffic on the EJ&E lines.
