I honestly feel that unless you live in this area (which obviously those that are looking at the increase in traffic DO NOT!!) that will be impacted by the additional traffic that will be running on these tracks due to the EJ&E sale you have NO WAY of knowing the impact the additional trains increasing from 19 to 40 PER DAY will have on my neighborhood. It is ridiculous that we were not even included in the initial impact study! I live less than 3 blocks from the Normantown crossing and I paid a substantial sum for my house knowing there was a train, but watching the amount of traffic before I decided it was at the upper level of acceptable. At the current time, the up to 19 trains a day keeps me from opening my windows in the spring/summer/fall due to the noise levels, dust (we have allergies in the house) and the train whistle blowing. This doesn't even include the amount of traffic on the streets that will be impacted by the additional trains. This crosses some major roads in the area that are the only ways of getting to the east (Ogden/Rt. 34 to name one). I was outraged to hear of the increase in train traffic. This is a neighborhood community that you are looking at impacting by this and we (my husband and I) are NOT HAPPY about this proposal. Thank you for your time and please think about what you would do if you lived in this area and were going to be subjected to the additional traffic and congestion. Sincerely, Jeanne Bowen
