I've been living in this address for app. 18 years and the railroad has always bothering me. The noise (horn) when train approaches the crossing with the IL Route 34 is very annoying and more than uncomfortable. Now, hearing that the train frequency might be doubled (or more) raises the following questions: -Is the noise within the EPA/OSHA regulations? -What impact it will have on pollution generated by the trains itself and by idling cars? -How it will jam the trafficon Route 34? -What about emergency vehicles going to the nearby hospital and crossing the railroad? -How to resolve the access to I-88 issue if, currently, only two roads have underpasses.
