My wife and I are concerned with the additional rail traffic since we live about a half mile from a crossing. Along with the additional traffic is how much is going to be hazardous materials loads. The rail line runs through mainly all residential areas in Plainfield. The CEO of CN recently had a full page ad run in our local newspaper stating how safe and well run there railroad company is. I am a tractor trailer driver for UPS, in my experience taking loads to CN's Harvey,IL facility, it is one of most poorly run and staffed rail yards I go into on an almost daily basis. I don't believe the CN cares about the communities that will be affected by this acquisition. There main concern is how to get there rail traffic through the Chicago land area quicker. I respectfully ask the Surface Transportation Board to deny the acquisition of the EJ&E by CN. Thank you, Philip Freske
