I live in a community that borders the subject railroad track east of Ridgeland Avenue in Matteson, Illinois. This is a 55+ community which is quiet and safe for its residents. Increasing frequency from 6 to 28 trains a day is not acceptable. These tracks run very close behind the homes and we do not feel safe with these changes. Also, it's feared that these tracks cannot accommodate the increased traffic.
