I have concerns about the impact of increasing the number of trains through Barrington. #1) Traffic through downtown Barrington is already so slow. Increased train traffic would just make the problem worse. #2) Emergency vehicles not being able to reach individuals or hospitals because of increased train traffic. #3) Schools - The Barrington Middle Schools and High Schools would be affected by the increase in train traffic. Both schools have train tracks for parents and students to cross. #4) Safety with increased train traffic in such a highly congested area.
